The Swans finished a hectic week with a point at Norwich City, but it was an injury to goalscorer Nathan Dyer that was the main concern.
The winger had opened the scoring after 12 minutes as he latched onto his own header before chipping John Ruddy for his fourth goal of the campaign.
But, just before half-time, Dyer was stretchered off with a suspected fractured ankle following an aerial challenge with Sebastien Bassong. The winger was then taken immediately to hospital for treatment.
The hosts got back on level terms during added-on time as Gary Hooper's superb 30-yard volley looped over Michel Vorm and into the net.
After the break, Norwich hit the crossbar via Michael Turner while sub Wilfried Bony went within inches of winning it late on.
But neither side found the winner, with the Swans maintaining tenth spot as they moved up to 20 points from 16 games.
It completed a busy seven days for the squad, with Michael Laudrup's side being held at Hull on Monday before losing at St Gallen in Switzerland in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Swans made eight changes to the starting XI.
Michael Laudrup brought Michel Vorm back between the sticks while Ashley Williams led the side and Ben Davies and Angel Rangel - back from a calf injury - fulfilled the full-back positions. Chico Flores, meanwhile, sat out his one-match suspension.
Jose Canas went into midfield while there were two changes out wide as Spanish international Pablo Hernandez and Nathan Dyer provided the width for Michu, who was back up front.

Both sides enjoyed chances early on with Steven Whittaker firing over before Pablo Hernandez replied for the Swans with a low effort which hit the sidenetting.
Jonathan de Guzman then looped a 25-yard free-kick before the Swans took the lead with 12 minutes gone.
Ashley Williams' drilled pass found Nathan Dyer, who outmuscled Sebastien Bassong to get a head to the ball before racing on and chipping the onrushing John Ruddy.
The Swans pushed for another goal soon after, but Michu couldn't keep his effort down after Hernandez slipped in Ben Davies for the cross.
The visitors were enjoying the vast majority and possession, but Norwich almost pulled one back as Garry Hooper won possession off Williams, but the striker fired wide as Michel Vorm and the gathering defence put him under pressure.
With the game approaching half-time, the Swans were dealt a blow as Dyer injured his right ankle in a challenge with Bassong, with the winger stretchered off. He was replaced by Alejandro Pozuelo after 44 minutes.
And Norwich immediately went in search of an equaliser, and they almost got it as Leroy Fur poked a loose ball in the box towards goal, but Williams reacted quickly to head over for a corner.
From the set-piece, Bassong rose highest but could only direct his header over the crossbar.
Six minutes of added-on time followed, and Norwich got back on level terms during it.
Johan Elmander chested down a long ball from Whittaker, and Hooper controlled before firing a thunderous volley over Vorm from 30 yards.
HALF-TIME: Norwich 1 Swans 1
The home side started the second half with their spirits raised, and Bassong headed wide from a corner while Whittaker fired off target when he found himself in space.
At the other end, Ruddy just beat Williams to a loose ball in the box while sub Pozuelo curled wide after a one-two with Hernandez.
Norwich, though, were looking dangerous at the set-piece, and when Vorm punched a corner straight to Michael Turner, his header rattled the crossbar and rebounded off the head of Jordi Amat and out for a corner.
The home side continued to attack, and the Swans had a scare as Vorm spilled a ball into the box, and then moments later he reacted superbly well to deny Hooper from 12 yards out.
Michael Laudrup made a change as Wilfried Bony replaced Michu up front for the last 15 minutes, while, soon after, Roland Lamah came on for Hernandez.
And Bony went close to winning the game as he controlled de Guzman's cross, but the Ivorian curled his effort just wide from 18 yards.
The Swans probed again, and Shelvey was twice denied, first by a Bassong block and then by Ruddy after he was put through by Pozuelo.
But that was the end of the action, with the Swans forced to settle for a share of the spoils.
