Swans girls help Wales U15s to cup success

Swansea City Girls Development strikers Aneeka Bardsley and Jasmine Simpson have helped Wales Under-15s lift their first ever Bob Docherty Cup in Dublin.
The team, which also included former development goalkeeper Deanna Lewis, defeated hosts Republic of Ireland in their first match before beating Scotland to book a place in the final.
Goals from Lucy Attwood and Phoebe Hampson saw the young side beat Northern Ireland 2-0 in the final with the U15s lifting the cup for the first time in their history.
The trio of Swans Girls have also been named in the Wales Under-17 squad to face Northern Ireland two international friendlies on Wednesday and Friday this week.
