. . . Ben named as Taylor's replacement for national squad

Swansea City defender Ben Davies has won his first senior Wales call-up as a replacement for injured team-mate Neil Taylor.
Taylor has been ruled out for the rest of the season after breaking and dislocating his ankle in Saturday’s Premier League fixture with Sunderland.
Davies came off the bench to make his third appearance of the season at the weekend, and the 19-year-old has now been called up as Taylor’s replacement with the national squad.
Neath-born Davies, who penned a new two-year deal at the Swans this summer, will join Ashley Williams in the Wales squad for the 2014 World Cup opening qualifying matches against Belgium and Serbia.
Chris Coleman’s side kick off their campaign against Belgium in Cardiff on Friday (7.45pm) before taking on Serbia on Tuesday (7.30pm).
