Danny Graham believes the Liberty Stadium can play a huge role in helping the Swans return to winning ways in the Premier League.
After three straight league defeats, Michael Laudrup’s side face Reading and Wigan in SA1 either side of the international break.
And Graham feels a red-hot atmosphere at the Liberty could prove key in helping the team turn their fortunes around.
“The next two games are at home and we’re hoping that can play a big part in ending the poor run of results,” said the striker.
“They will be very tough games against Reading and Wigan, but we want to make the most of playing at home and move ourselves up the table.
“We all love playing in front of the fans at the Liberty – there’s a great atmosphere here and the supporters make a lot of noise.
“It’s a big factor for us. Against Everton things didn’t go our way, but we have a strong record at home and I’m sure with the backing we get from the supporters, and a lot of hard working in training this week, we can get ourselves back on track.”
He added: “It has been disappointing having lost the last three league games – we know we can perform a lot better than that.
“We started the season very well and showed that we have a lot of quality as a team, but it hasn’t gone our way in the last few matches.
“But it only takes a couple of good performances for our form to turn around – as we saw on a few occasions last season.
“The Premier League is the kind of division where you can lose a few in a row and then win a few. That’s why it is important that you don’t get too carried away when you win and don’t allow yourself to get down when you lose.
“We know we have to work hard, stick together and keep believing in what we are doing. It worked at the start of the season, so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work now.”
