Swansea City have completed the signing of midfielder Giancarlo Gallifuoco on a one-year contract.
The 20-year-old arrives at the Liberty on a free transfer after his contract with Tottenham expired and will now link up with the club's Under-21 squad.
Australian-born Gallifuoco spent three years at White Hart Lane and played in the same development side as Swans loanee Tom Carroll.
And he is relishing the opportunity of starting a new chapter in SA1.
"I'm very excited," he said. "It's the perfect club for me to take the next step in my career and I can't wait to get started.
"I had a brief chat with Garry Monk and he said that there are opportunities at this club if I work hard and that's what I intend to do.
"I was excited when I learned of the club's interest and it's a Premier League club that plays brilliant football and I'm delighted to be here."
Meanwhile, Giancarlo's arrival in SA1 reunites him with fellow new recruit James Demetriou, who he played with at Under-11 level in Sydney, Australia.
