. . . Roland reflects on another Dutch tour victory

Roland Lamah insists all boxes were ticked as the Swans continued their tour of Holland with a 5-1 victory at third-tier outfit Excelsior Maassluis.
Michael Laudup’s side followed up the opening tour win over FC Gravenzande by coming from behind to win on Sunday afternoon.
Lamah, who signed an 18-month loan deal from Osasuna in January, was on the scoresheet for the first time as a Swan when he put the visitors level after slotting past the keeper following Ben Davies’ fine through ball.
Rory Donnelly then edged the Swans ahead before second-half goals from Alejandro Pozuelo, Kenji Gorre and Nathan Dyer put the gloss on a fine win.
And Lamah feels it maintains the progress made by Laudrup’s side during their tour in South Holland.
“I am happy with today,” said the Belgian international, who joined up with the rest of the group in Holland a few days later than scheduled as his wife is pregnant.
“We got another win and I scored my first goal for the club. The gaffer told me to use the space, so I spoke with Ben (Davies) and when he got the ball he played a great ball for me to score.
“I feel good and I’m looking forward to the rest of the tour.
“It’s important for the group to continue improving as we have done, because it will help us be ready for the start of the season.”
***Wednesday's third tour friendly match against NAC Breda is expected to go ahead at a new venue, which is not expected to be confirmed until Monday.
