. . . De Guzman and Vorm both called up for friendly against Italy

Jonathan de Guzman and Michel Vorm have been called up to the Holland squad for next week’s friendly against Italy.
The pair have been named in boss Louis van Gaal’s 20-man contingent for Wednesday’s clash in Amsterdam (7.30pm).
It is the first time that de Guzman has been called into the senior Holland squad, after previously winning four caps for the Under-21 side.
The midfielder has impressed at the Liberty Stadium this season after joining on a season-long loan from Villarreal last summer.
The 25-year-old has scored six goals so far this season, including a brace in a 3-1 win over Stoke recently – a game watched by Holland’s assistant coach Danny Blind.
