Swans midfielder Jonathan de Guzman believes he can thrive under the guidance of manager Michael Laudrup at the Liberty Stadium.
De Guzman, who played under Laudrup at Mallorca, told Jack Magazine, the club’s matchday programme for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Sunderland: “From the year I experienced with him at Mallorca, I can tell you he is a relaxed coach who knows what he wants.
“He is very tactical, he is very smart and he wants to play football. He likes playing one-two football and I think that’s the most effective kind of football around right now, as you can see if you look at Spain.
“I think you can see from the games so far that he is putting his stamp on our play and bringing his own style and identity to the club.’’
Also in this weekend’s 76-page edition of Jack Magazine, we caught up with new signing Ki Sung-Yueng after his £5.5m move from Celtic.
We have our new ‘Fans’ Mailbag’ feature and we take a look back at former Swans from years gone by in our ‘Where Are They Now?’ section, including striker Bob Latchford.
And if that wasn’t enough for you, in keeping with the centenary celebrations we have a special feature in every programme this season that charts the history of the Swans in bite-size instalments.
The new-look bumper 76-page magazine is a must for every Swans fan and will be available around the ground, the club shop and online HERE along with Slee Stores in Plasmarl.
Jack Magazine…it really is too good to miss.
