. . . striker heads to St Andrews in temporary switch

Swansea City have agreed a three-month loan deal for Leroy Lita to join Birmingham City.
The striker underwent a medical at St Andrews this morning and the paperwork will be ratified once the loan window opens tomorrow.
It is a move which will see Lita link up with the Championship club until mid-December.
Lita made 16 league appearances last season, scoring in the club’s first win back in the top-flight over West Brom and in the 4-2 defeat at Blackburn.
The 27-year-old joined the Swans from Middlesbrough for £1.75million in August last year, making 16 league appearances and scoring twice.

Meanwhile, five young Swans have been included in the Wales U17s squad for the friendly against Liechenstein in Carmarthen this month.
Tom Atyeo, Luke Llewellyn, Corey Francis, Kyle Copp and Owain Jones have been called up while Lewis Thomas is on stand-by.
Wales host Liechenstein on Wednesday, September 19 at Carmarthen’s Richmond Park (6pm).
