. . . read what the press have been reporting on the Swans

It doesn’t get much bigger than this for the Swans on Sunday. The Premier League leaders Manchester United are in town and they won’t be holding back.
The atmosphere at the Liberty will be rocking ahead of Christmas and the build up continues.
Ashley Williams is looking for another strong team performance against a top side and is relishing the chance to play against in-form Robin van Persie. After making the switch from Arsenal the Dutch hit man has continued his outstanding goalscoring form from last season, and will be among the visitors' main threats.
Meanwhile, Leeds boss Neil Warnock is looking to turn Alan Tate’s loan spell at Elland Road into a permanent deal as the defender has made a big impression on the Championship club.

Ashley Williams relishing tussle with Robin van Persie

When you’ve lost back-to-back games the last thing you probably want is a calling card from Robin van Persie and Premier League leaders Manchester United.
But Ashley Williams insists that could not be further from the truth this week as Swansea City prepare for arguably the biggest fixture of the season.
“It’s going to be tough to stop van Persie. He’s on fire at the minute and he’s playing with a lot of confidence,” said the Wales skipper.
“We just have to work hard as a team, to stop him and the service into him.
“You know he’s going to get a couple of chances, that’s the way it goes against a quality side.
“Who’s to say if he’s the best striker in the Premier League. I’m not too sure, there’s a few who are quite good – but he’s one of them, if not the best.”
