Swansea City defender Franck Tabanou has joined his former club St Etienne on loan for the remainder of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 26-year-old left-back has been limited to just three appearances this season since arriving at the Liberty in June, with the Frenchman finding game-time hard to come by this term following the form of Neil Taylor.
Tabanou made his debut in the Capital One Cup win over York last August before featuring in the third-round defeat at Hull City. His last appearance came in the FA Cup loss to Oxford earlier this month.
The loan sees Tabanou return to St Etienne – a club where he spent two years while helping them reach the Europa League before his switch to the Liberty.
