. . . Coleman's side suffer second Group loss
Wales went down 6-1 in Serbia as the nation’s World Cup qualification hopes suffered a huge blow.
Ashley Williams featured for the whole 90 minutes while fellow Swans Jazz Richards and Ben Davies were unused substitutes in Novi Sad as Wales went down to a second consecutive defeat in Group A.
Chris Coleman’s side were 2-0 down after 24 minutes after Manchester City's Aleksandar Kolarov struck a superb free-kick and Zoran Tosic – once of Manchester United - doubled the lead.
Gareth Bale pulled one back just after the half hour as he fired in a sublime free-kick, but Filip Duricic retained the hosts’ two-goal advantage before the break.
Dusan Tadic netted a fourth goal before captain Branislav Ivanovic and Miralem Sulejmani completed the rout.
