. . . winger Wayne to commit to contract extension at Swans
Swansea City winger Wayne Routledge has today agreed a new four-year contract at the Liberty Stadium.
It will commit Routledge, whose contract was due to expire next year, to the club until June 2016 with the deal taking effect from June 2012.
Routledge, 28, has enjoyed his best campaign in the top flight, scoring five goals in 29 appearances this season.
The news follows shortly after Michu penned a new deal with Michael Laudrup’s side, with the Spanish sensation scoring 16 goals already having only joined from Rayo Vallecano last summer.
