October Quarterly winner
The 1912 Foundation was delighted to bring together the five preliminary winners of the quarterly prize of ₤1,912 on the pitch at half-time during the game against Wolves recently.
The five preliminary winners were Owen Davies of Fforestfach, Kevin Walsh of Cardiff, Nigel Drean of Sketty, Janet Bebb of Morriston and Anne Melen of Alltwen.
Swans midfielder Ferrie Bodde, fresh from his Preston wonder goal, made the draw and the delighted winner was Anne Melen.
Anne, a lifelong Swans fan, has since written to the commercial department thanking us for what she described as a great moment. Not only was she delighted to win ₤1,912 live on the Liberty Stadium pitch, the cheque was also presented by a Swans legend in the making.
