Swansea City made the best possible start to their newly formed Welsh Women's Premier League campaign with a positive outcome against UWIC Ladies.
Lindsay Morgan opened the scoring early on and a Laura-May Walkley double ensured that the Swans would emerge victorious in Cardiff.
"I'm absolutely delighted," said Swansea City Ladies manager, Ian Owen.
"I think the side played really well, bringing a new intensity to the game.
"The early goal settled us, and I was pleased to see Laura May-Walkley get the second before half time.
Swansea began the game brightly, and following their first attacking threat after six minutes there were rewards - Morgan firing Swansea in front following a swift attacking moment from Rachel Rowe.

A second goal arrived just after the half-hour with Welsh Under-19 international Sarah Adams embarking on a swift route into UWIC territory to set up Walkley, who headed in from twelve-yards.
There were further opportunities for Walkley to strike twice more, only to be denied with shots crashing onto the goalframe, but she was more fortunate in the final minute with the quickness of Adams again outpacing the UWIC back line before she fired home her second.
"The score line could have been doubled," added Owen.
"But I'm satisfied with three along with the overall team effort, which was second to none."
