Swansea City Ladies will be bidding to make history this weekend when they take on Caernarfon in the Welsh Premier League play-off.
For the winner of Sunday's clash at Haverfordwest will automatically reach the qualifying stages of next season's Women's Uefa Champions League.
The Swans topped the Southern Conference of the newly formed league with a 100 per cent record but will face their sternest test of the campaign against the Canaries who finished first in the Northern section.
Manager Ian Owen has already spoken of his hope that the possibility of Euro qualification will inspire more girls to take up the sport in Swansea (click HERE), while Caernarfon have had to change their plans in the week building up to the big game.
The north Wales side were under the impression that the tie would take place at Aberystwyth only to be told that it would be switched to Haverfordwest.
"We always had a big mountain to climb to get a result in this game - but the mountain just got bigger," said Caernarfon Town manager Keith Fearns.
"Victory in this game brings entry into the European Champions League as Wales champions, but the Cofis will probably have to do without the vocal support of their fans due to the distance to west Wales."
