Swansea City Ladies boss Ian Owen has praised his team's efforts after they clinched the first Women's Welsh Premier League on Sunday, writes Robert Clement.
The 4-0 triumph against Caernarfon also rewarded the Swans with entry into next season's European Championship for the first time in the club's history.
Sarah Adams opened the scoring at Haverfordwest but Laura-May Walkley stole the show with a hat-trick.
And Owen couldn't hide his delight following the final whistle.
"I'm absolutely delighted," he beamed.
"It's just reward for all the hard work throughout the season and also over the years, we have a great set of players and to see that sort of performance was simply brilliant.
"I knew that if we turned up in the right frame of mind the defence and attack would perform well and I was certainly more than pleased with that.
"At the beginning I think that we overplayed a little bit when perhaps we could have put a few more shots on target, but at the end of the day I'm happy that the right result has been achieved."
