Swans snap up Polish international

Posted on: Fri 27 Jan 2012

Swansea City Ladies have added Polish International Kinga Bandych to their squad.

Bandych made her debut off the bench during the second half of the Welsh Premier League home win against Caerphilly Castle.

The 21-year-old midfielder, who played for Polish side AZSPsli Biala Podlaska last season, has gained two senior caps and made numerous appearances at U17 and U19 level.

"It's a great signing," said manager Ian Owen. "Kinga has a wealth of experience playing at a good level in Poland. She has already shown her quality and strength in training and I am sure will enhance our talented young squad.
