Season ticket boost
Swansea City had a record breaking day on season-ticket sales yesterday with 550 Swans fans guaranteeing their Championship seat for next season.
The Liberty Stadium ticket office was kept busy all day as season tickets went on general sale for the first time.
And while existing season ticket holders have until June 14 to guarantee the same seat as last season, the encouraging factor was the amount of new season ticket holders booking their place for the whole campaign.
Around 400 new season tickets were sold, taking the total sales after just one day, including Premier Club members and Vice Presidents, to 1,750.
The club sold 8,000 in total last season - a record figure the club is looking to break ahead of the new campaign.
And here's a date for your diary. The Swans will discover their fixture programme for their return to the Championship on Monday, June 16.
The Football League have confirmed all fixtures will be announced at 10am for the 2008/09 season, which will get underway on Saturday, August 9.
Full details of Swansea's fixtures for the new campaign will, of course, appear here first on the official site.
