Season ticket boost
The Liberty Stadium ticket staff are bracing themselves for a busy day at the office on Saturday as Swans fans continue to snap up their season tickets for the new Championship campaign.
Interest in Swansea's Championship assault was hammered home at Neath in midweek as 7,500 packed into the Gnoll to take their first glimpse of Roberto Martinez's new-look Swans - for a friendly!
And with 2,700 tickets already sold for the first away game of the season at Charlton - leaving just 300 for sale - fans have been making sure they get priority for the exciting season ahead.
A club spokesperson said: "Because there was such a large crowd at Neath, I think it hit home to people that there could be quite a few sell-outs at the Liberty Stadium next season.
"The fans that went into the ticket office on Thursday said they wanted to guarantee their seat. They didn't want to miss a game.
"It's the same for away games. There will be a lot of grounds where we won't be getting half as many tickets as we have for Charlton, which are already nearly sold out.
"With season ticket holders getting priority, it's the best way to get to the front of the queue.''
The ticket office is open on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Swans fans are warned that there are just 300 tickets left for the Championship opener at Charlton Athletic on Saturday, August 9.
The club has today been informed that we will receive 3,000 tickets and not the 3,300 as previously expected.
With 2,700 tickets already sold for the game at The Valley, Swans fans are urged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
