Goals from Tom Butler and Guillem Bauza gave Swansea City their first win on their Spanish tour.

Butler struck in the 15th minute with Bussy adding a second eight minutes from time to sink a battling CF Peralada side who were left chasing shadows for long spells.

Swansea made the one hour trip from their hotel base to take on CF Peralada in their second friendly of their pre-season tour of Spain.

Manager Roberto Martinez initially named two sides for each half against a side who play their football in the Primera Catalana, the fifth tier in Spain.

Jordi Gomez and Gorka Pintado weren't expected to figure after being given a break, while Jason Scotland and Angel Rangel were still recovering from operations.

Manchester United loan signing, Febian Brandy, also had a watching brief after picking up a slight ankle injury.

Swansea started well on top as Shaun MacDonald forced an early save out of the Paralada 'keeper before Ashley Williams nearly deflected home an Alan Tate effort.

With 15 minutes gone, Swansea were ahead though as a quick free-kick from Leon Britton sent MacDonald on his way. His pass found Tom Butler and the winger fired into the top corner.

Great feet from Ferrie Bodde six minutes later created the next opening as the Dutch midfielder fired just wide.

Swansea remained in control without really threaten the home goal, but still received an ovation from the 200-strong Swans fans who had made the long journey north.

Half-time: CF Peralada 0 Swans 1

Only Dorus de Vries remained for the start of the second half as Roberto switched things around totally.

Swansea City (second-half): de Vries, Collins, Bessone, Serran, Monk ©, Tudur Jones, Allen, O'Leary, Gower, Orlandi, Bauza. Subs: Cornell, Morrison.

And Swansea made a lively start as Mark Gower struck the bar after just two minutes.

Gower was involved again a minute later as he combined with Bussy toi set up Owain Tudur Jones only for a late flag ruled his goal out for offside.

Bussy fired inches wide straight after as Swansea were off to a flying start.

The Spaniard had another good chance moments later as he tried to round the 'keeper only to win a free-kick which Andrea Orlandi curled against the outside of the post.

Orlandi had another good strike well saved by the keeper before Kristian O'Leary fired the rebound over as Swansea looked to add to Butler's opener with 17 minutes remaining.

It should have arrived in the 75th minute when OTJ headed an Orlandi free-kick down to Albert Serran only for his diving header to be ruled out by another dodgy linesman's flag.

O'Leary glanced another header just wide of the top corner as Swansea were keeping possession well for long spells.

And they grabbed a deserved second in the 82nd minute as Orlandi played a great ball into the path of Guillem Bauza and the striker applied a great finish.

Joe Allen and Bussy nearly grabbed two more at the death, but manager Roberto Martinez will be pleased with the number of chances his side created on the night.
