Reserves go down

Posted on: Fri 12 Sep 2008

Swansea City's reserve side were beaten 3-0 by Reading on Wednesday in the opening Football Combination Challenge Cup match of the season.

It was their second successive defeat without reply following the 4-0 reverse at Cheltenham last month.

Both sides went in at half-time locked at 0-0 but Julian Kelly's strike just after half-time got the ball rolling for the visitors.

An Albert Serran own goal, his second in two reserve games, made it 2-0 on 56 minutes and Oliver Bozanic added a third five minutes from time.
