Fitz Hall will be given a late fitness test ahead of the match while Rowan Vine is their only long-term absentee with a broken leg.

Iain Dowie's side picked up their first league win since mid-September when they beat rock-bottom Nottingham Forest 2-1 on Saturday.

They took the lead minutes into the second-half through youngster Angelo Balanta and doubled that advantage on the hour when Akos Buzsaky fired a stunning strike past Paul Smith in the Forest goal.

Lewis McGugan denied the R's a clean sheet when he pulled one back for the visitors six minutes from time.

Kenny Jackett's first return to his former club ended in disappointment as the Swans were dumped out of the League Cup at the first hurdle.

The home side had to wait until the 39th minute before Jamie Cureton opened the scoring, while further strikes late on from Martin Rowlands and Kevin Gallen ensured that the Loftus Road side would progress.

Gallen also missed a penalty and Kevin Austin was sent off for the visitors.
