The Swans will be seeded in round one of next season's Carling Cup and are guaranteed a tie against a club from League One or League Two.

A total of 70 Football League club's have been placed in the draw, which takes place next Tuesday (June 16), with the exclusion of Newcastle and Middlesbrough as they receive byes for being the 'highest finishers' in last season's league tables.

The draw has also been split into two sections with 17 ties in the North and a further 18 in the South set to take place.

Last season saw the Swans reach the last-16 of the competition for the first time in their history, losing out against Watford in round four (0-1) following earlier successes aganist Brentford (2-0), Premiership new boys Hull (2-1) and Cardiff (1-0).
