Swansea City will kick-off their pre-season preparations for the new Championship campaign with a friendly against Steve McClaren's FC Twente.

The former England boss will bring his Dutch Champions League qualifiers to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday, July 18 (3pm), as preparation for their forthcoming European campaign.

La Liga side UD Almeria, managed by former Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez, have also been pencilled in for Saturday, August 1, at the Liberty Stadium, but this has yet to be fully confirmed.
