Paulo Sousa has called for a reaction from his players ahead of tomorrow's clash at Watford (3pm).
After seeing his side frustrated by Coventry in the goalless draw on Tuesday the Portuguese legend is hoping that his side can finish January on a high.
The Swans go into the Vicarage Road clash in fifth place and boast a record of just two defeats from their last 21 Championship outings.
"We are looking for a reaction and everything we have done until now gives us confidence that we will see one," he said.
"Watford caused us difficulties at home, and they are a well-organised team with good quality up front and good defenders, especially the full-backs.
"They are at home and they will want to win, so hopefully they will not drop back all the time like Coventry did."
Vice-captain Alan Tate rescued a late point for the Swans back in August as the Hornets left south west Wales with a point.

But the visitors head to Hertfordshire looking to end a Vicarage Road hoodoo which stretches back over 31 years.
The Commondores topped the charts with their single 'Three Times a Lady' the last time the Swans were victorious at Watford - Alan Waddle and Kevin Moore were on target for John Toshack's side in the 2-0 Third Division success in September 1978.
Watford currently occupy 16th spot in the Championship standings and are without a win from their last six league outings.
The recent cold snap has also seen them go without a home fixture since Boxing Day - a goalless draw against in-form Nottingham Forest - but boss Malky Mackay is expecting a good game.
"They are a tough outfit," said the 37-year-old former Scotland international.
"I have come to know Paulo a little bit since he has been in the UK and we have had a good chat a couple of times. He is a good man and he is doing well at Swansea.
"They have a good record but we are at Vicarage Road and I expect it to be a good game."
Craig Beattie is a doubt for the trip down the M4 with a foot injury after he missed the midweek stalemate against Coventry.
The home side could hand new signing Will Buckley his debut after the 20-year-old winger completed his move from Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.
There could also be a first start for midfielder Stephen McGinn, 21, after he switched to the club from St. Mirren.
