Paulo Sousa has praised Swansea City's supporters for playing their part at Derby as his side claimed an important 1-0 victory.
Shefki Kuqi struck the winner shortly after the hour after he connected to head home a David Cotterill free-kick in a fiery clash at Pride Park.
Both sides ended the game with 10-men - Jay McEveley for Derby and substitute Gorka Pintado for the visitors were dismissed - but the Swans boss was delighted with the win and equally the fans' support in the east Midlands.
"We played against 14 but we had 12," he said.
"Our supporters were outstanding to help us on a difficult pitch, it was difficult to play like I said against 14.

"We showed our spirit more than ever and it is difficult to beat us, we are well organised and I am very happy and proud of our lads.
"I don't want to speak about it [Pintado's sending off]. I say we play against 14 and I don't want to explain.
"I have already spoken with the players. We need to control our emotions much better.
"If we control our emotions we don't commit stupid fouls."
