Swans youngster Kerry Morgan fired Newport County to victory on Friday night as they are set to get their promotion party started.

The 21-year-old, who is on loan at Spytty Park, scored the only goal of the game as they beat Bishop's Stortford 1-0.

That win opened up a gap of 27 points at the top of the Blue Square South and their elevation to the Blue Square Premier could be confirmed today if results go their way.

However, if the three teams immediately below the Exiles get positive results they will go up as champions if defeat is avoided at home against Havant & Waterlooville on Monday night.
