Leon Britton believes that the Swans can bounce back against visitors Barnsley on Saturday (3pm).
Last weekend's late defeat at Bristol City was a setback in the play-off race but the midfielder has faith that his side can get the points against the Tykes.
The gap between the sixth-placed Swans and Blackpool in seventh is still just two points but Britton's mind is firmly focused on just one game in two days' time.
"We just need to concentrate on winning our games and not concern ourselves with other teams," he said.
"We need to show character and determination to bounce back after Bristol City just like we did to beat Scunthorpe in our last home game.
"Everyone is working hard in training and are excited at what lies ahead."
Victory against Mark Robins' side will certainly come as a boost at this key stage of the campaign but this is just one of three massive games remaining in what is a key part of the club's recent history.
And while Leon has played in a number of key games since arriving in south west Wales eight years ago he acknowledges the importance of the games against Barnsley, Sheffield United and Doncaster.
"Obviously these three games are very big," he added.
"I've been fortunate enough to be here for a long time and to have played in a number of big games, but these three matches are massive.
"But we are in a great position to still be in the play-offs with three games to go and we have a massive opportunity ahead of us."
