Swans boss Brendan Rodgers wants to turn the Liberty into a fortress this season - starting with tomorrow's visit of Preston (3pm).
The Lancashire side will provide the new manager with his first league opposition at home on the back of the midweek Carling Cup success against Barnet.
And it's a game that Rodgers is thoroughly looking forward to and is hopeful of marking it with a win.
"We're really excited about the game," he said.
"The Liberty is a wonderful arena to play football in and we want to make the home ground a fortress this year.
"That's important and we want to get the win as early as we can."
The Swans will be out to get their first points on the board this term following the opening day loss at Hull City last Saturday.
But the win against Barnet was a boost and Rodgers is hoping that result will bring confidence to the side as they bid to tackle Darren Ferguson's side.
"Every game is difficult at this level and Saturday will be no different," he added.
"It probably wasn't the ideal start last week at Hull, but we had a good win in the week in the cup and that breeds confidence.
"We'll take that confidence into the game and look for another good performance."

The Swans were beaten 2-0 at Hull last week |
Wales international duo Ashley Williams and David Cotterill returned from their goalscoring exploits against Luxembourg unscathed while the five youngsters on Under-21 duty in Malta - David Cornell, Jazz Richards, Neil Taylor, Daniel Alfei and Shaun MacDonald - also came back injury free.
Joe Allen is available after featuring against the Bees on Tuesday but Gorka Pintado is definitely out.
The manager is hopeful that Angel Rangel could be involved after he pulled out of the Hull game with a thigh injury, while new recruit Scott Sinclair is expected to be named in the matchday squad.
"He's going to add that bit of pace and goal threat to the squad," said Rodgers of the signing from Chelsea.
"He's a player who's settled in well over the last couple of days and we look forward to seeing him at some stage."
The visitors will be bidding for a first success in south west Wales since the early 1960's, but they are without a league victory on the road since January - one of just three throughout the whole of last season.
Influential defender Sean St. Ledger is set to return from a hamstring strain while Jon Parkin could also feature after suffering a similar problem.
"Against Swansea we will have to be disciplined, patient when they have the ball and good in possession when we have it," said Lilywhites' boss Ferguson.
"When we went there last season it was a long 90 minutes, we struggled.
"The way Swansea play is that they wait until someone switches off and then try and capitalise on it.
"Hopefully we can put in a good performance and come away with a result."
