David Cotterill insists that the Swans will not let last weekend's thumping of Preston go to their heads as they prepare to take on Norwich (Saturday, 3pm).
The Wales international was on target from the penalty spot in the 4-0 victory to give Brendan Rodgers his first points since taking over as manager.
That game is now in the past but he's hopeful that the team will take confidence from that win ahead of the test at Carrow Road.
"We're not going to get carried away," said Cotterill, who also opened his Wales account against Luxembourg last week.
"We've got a great bunch of lads here. We know what we want to do this year and hopefully take confidence from the game [against Preston] into Saturday's game [at Norwich]."
And the youngster isn't expecting a stroll in the park against the Canaries who eased to promotion from the third tier last term.
He added: "They've just come up from League One, they have good players and are a big club, so we can't take anything for granted.
"Every game in the Championship is tough so we're not expecting an easy ride up there."
