The Swans have been dealt a blow with news that Angel Rangel will miss the next four to six weeks with a thigh injury.

He missed the opening day defeat at Hull with the same problem but aggrevated it in last week's 4-0 win against Preston which forced him off in the second-half.

A scan this week revealed that the right-back has a small tear in his thigh.

"I felt it go during the Preston game and I had to come off," he said.

"And when I went for the scan during the week it showed that I had a small tear. It's disappointing but I'm just going to have to keep an eye on it over the next few weeks."
