The young striker made a third successive substitute appearance for Cambridge United as they secured a third win of the season at home against Barrow (2-1).

Jones came on as a 76th minute replacement for Robbie Willmott and made an immediate impact as he forced a save out of the visiting 'keeper.

Kerry Morgan came on in the 54th minute of Neath FC's 6-2 hammering at Aberystwyth Town on Friday evening. Swans defender Kyle Graves, who is also on loan at The Gnoll, didn't appear at Park Avenue.

On Saturday both Stefan Morrison and Scott Evans played their first competitive matches for Port Talbot Town in the 2-0 defeat at The New Saints.

Morrison, a summer signing from West Brom, came on in the 64th minute while Evans replaced Matthew Thompson eight minutes from time but neither were able to have an effect on the result.
