A second defeat in a row leaves the Swans in 3rd place, with the gap to 4th cut to just 2 points. Having obtained 1 point in the last 3, hopefully this is just a slight blip before the real end of season run in begins.
Kenny Jackett went with the 4-4-2 formation.
Willy Gueret shrugged off a calf injury to reclaim his place in goal. Sam Ricketts returned from his international debut for Wales, going to left back with Austin moving more central due to Monk's suspension.

Subs: Morris, Barnard, Hunt, Duncan & Echanomi
The game was affected by strong winds and with the construction work being carried out, the wind was able to swirl around the ground, making playing conditions poor.
In only the 3rd minute ANDERSON was booked for his first challenge of the match.
Lee Steele missed out on a clear shot at goal when Izzy Iriekpen got in to block the attempt. The game was quite scrappy, not being helped by the weather and MACKIE was next to go into the referees book.
Orient were finding it easier to adapt to the conditions and looked to take complete advantage. Often Swansea passes were being played too far as they were failing to judge distance with the winds going with them down the pitch.
Scott was denied by Gueret from 20 yards as the keeper caught his effort. But it was just a minute later when SCOTT broke the deadlock on the quarter hour. Steele laid the ball of to the edge of the box and this time his left footed shot hit the back of the net, going in the top corner. Gueret was given no chance as the ball went in off the underside of the bar after Steele's hard work.
Britton forced keeper Harrison into a save soon after, but it wasn't enough to draw level. In the 20th minute an attack came from an unlikely source. Centre-back Izzy Iriekpen, a former O's loanee, ran forward with the ball and after a good one-two with Britton, he had broken into the area having beaten 3 defenders, but his shot was smothered by Harrison.
The Jacks were having a good spell of play, but the goal wouldn't come. A Trundle free kick from 25 yards was hit straight at the keeper. Something was becoming apparent in the Swans play as they were giving the ball away cheaply.
Orient started to control the game again and in the 34th minute they got a second. Steele was a thorn in the side as he attacked down the left. He got in behind Tate and played the ball into the box. MCMAHON was on hand to finish off with a first time shot.
The half finished with a flurry of Trundle chances, a shot from distance 5 minutes before the break went straight to the keeper and after a mazy run, blasted over on his right foot. His next attempt was beaten out by Harrison and the keeper was aware to Sam Ricketts low drive. Gueret pulled of an amazing save in stoppage time too, he saved from a dipping McMahon volley, keeping the score at 2-0.
Half-Time Score: Leyton Orient 2 Swansea City 0
Two unchanged teams came out for the second half. Finishing the stronger of the sides, Swansea needed more of the same to get themselves back into the tie.
The Swans didn't continue with their progress from late on in the first half. Gueret was being kept busy in goal as Orient looked to kill the game off. 5 minutes in to the half the O's got the 3rd goal. As the back four stood watching, believing Britton had been fouled, McMahon got into the area. It was one-on-one, having only Gueret to beat. As he rounded the Frenchman, he was brought to the ground and LOCKWOOD made it 3-0 from 12 yards.
Just after the hour mark, TRUNDLE was booked for a dive under a challenge from Mackie. The weather got worse and the rain was blowing straight in the visiting Swans faces.
Steele was unlucky not to make it 4-0 with a long range effort which needed a save by Gueret to keep it out.
There was very little being offered by the Swans in attack, which Kenny Jackett had observed, replying by replacing BRITTON with THORPE, as the side changed to play 4-3-3.
Despite the change, Orient seemed in control and were able to counter attack constantly, but the attacks broke down, easing pressure on the defence. The O's were happy to absorb the pressure as the conditions suited their game plan, which was adapted to each situation. However, LEE THORPE scored his first goal in a Swansea shirt in consolation against his old club.
It's been a tough week with 2 away games, coming home without a point. But, we remain in 3rd spot with a 2 point advantage over teams below us. With what is hopefully a slight dip in form, we can look to push on in the final stages of the season.
Final Score: Leyton Orient 3 Swansea City 1
