The Swans gave their supporters an afternoon to remember as they run riot against Leyton Orient and bid farewell to Coca-Cola League One football at the Liberty Stadium.

Paul Anderson got the ball rolling with a fine strike on 18 minutes and then the flood gates opened as Guillem Bauza fired a 20-minute hat-trick to make it 4-0 to the home side at the break.

The visitors pulled one back just after the hour through Wayne Gray but it was to be Swansea City's afternoon in the sun.

Roberto Martinez made six changes to the side that lost against Yeovil Town the previous week with skipper Garry Monk making his long-awaited return to the starting line-up. There were also places for Angel Rangel, Marcos Painter, Owain Tudur-Jones, Paul Anderson and Guillem Bauza.

Swans: De Vries, Rangel, Monk (c), Lawrence, Painter, Anderson (Tom Butler, 82'), Tudur-Jones, Britton (Way, 54'), Robinson, Bauza (Brandy, 73'), Scotland. Subs: Austin, Tate.

It was a pretty even start to the match but with five minutes on the clock Andy Barcham burst into the Swansea City area but the problem was easily dealt with by Angel Rangel.

The visitors were awarded their first corner on nine minutes and from the resulting flag kick Jason Demetriou's cross-come-shot was flicked on towards goal by Adam Chambers and then deflected for another corner.

Andy Robinson had the Swans' first chance a minute later but his shot from eight-yards was easily dealt with by Glenn Morris in the Orient goal.

The deadlock was broken on 18 minutes when Garry Monk's ball forward found Paul Anderson on the right and the Liverpool loanee capitalised on a mistake by Orient full-back Charlie Daniels to race through on goal and slot the ball neatly past Morris from just inside the area.

Guillem Bauza almost added a second on 23 minutes, the Spanish forward latching onto Angel Rangel's through ball only to send his lob over the top. Goalscorer Anderson then went on a surging run from inside his own area a minute later and tested Morris from the edge of the area with a shot he did well to save low to his right.

The Swans doubled their advantage on 25 minutes when Guillem Bauza fired home from close range. The move started with the returning Owain Tudur-Jones finding Paul Anderson out wide, his cross found Scotland inside the area and the loose ball was converted by Bauza through the legs of Glenn Morris.

Guillem Bauza scored his second and Swansea's third on 35 minutes after confusion amongst the Orient defence. The back line was expecting the offside flag after Angel Rangel's long ball forward found Scotland, out rushed Orient stopper Morris and his weak clearance went straight to the feet of Bauza and the former Espanyol player was able to slot the ball into an empty net from 20-yards.

Three became four a minute before half-time as Guillem Bauza completed his first hat-trick for the club. Fine work by Andy Robinson brought a save from Morris but Bauza was there to pounce from inside the six-yard box. His strike did hit the underside of the bar and bounce down but the assistant referee awarded the goal.

Half-Time: Swansea City 4 - 0 Leyton Orient

Orient made two changes at the start of the second-half with JJ Melligan and Adam Boyd coming on to replace Andy Barcham and Jabo Ibehre.

Andy Robinson burst into the area and shot low at Morris on 51 minutes while at the other end the Swans had to partake in some rare defensive duties to keep out Wayne Gray. Top-scorer Jason Scotland, one short of the magical 30 for the season, was clean through on goal with 53 minutes on the clock but he sent his strike straight at the 'keeper and it deflected wide for a corner.

Leyton Orient pulled a goal back just after the hour when JJ Melligan's cross was met by the head of Wayne Gray. The visitors looked a completely different side as they bombard the Swans' area midway through the second-half.

Jason Scotland had another chance to score his 30th of the season on 70 minutes, the Trinidadian latching onto Andy Robinson's ball forward but he was unable to put it past Glenn Morris. With a little over quarter of an hour remaining Scotland's strike partner, hat-trick hero Guillem Bauza, was replaced by Febian Brandy and received a standing ovation from the Swansea City faithful.

The pint sized Manchester United loanee was straight in the action as he won a corner off the legs of Orient skipper Stephen Purches. Andy Robinson played the one-two with Darren Way and from the cross Garry Monk was left unmarked six-yards out only to head straight at the 'keeper.

Jason Scotland and Tom Butler both had chances in the latter stages to add a fifth but it wasn't to be. In Swansea City's final Coca-Cola League One home match of the season it finished 4-1 to Roberto Martinez's table-topping side in front of nearly 17,000 fans.
