The Spaniard grabbed the headlines for the second game running after his FA Cup double on Saturday with a header that sent the Swans into the southern area semi-finals and left them just three games away from a Wembley appearance at the end of the season.

Swans boss Roberto Martinez made four changes to the side that beat Billericay 2-1 in the FA Cup on Saturday.

Dorus de Vries returned between the posts for David Knight; Kevin Amankwaah came in for Angel Rangel at right back; Joe Allen for Kristian O'Leary in midfield, while Darren Pratley returned from suspension to replace Leon Britton alongside Allen.

There was also good news on the bench where Ferrie Bodde made his return from a hip injury.

Yeovil made just one change from the side that suffered a shock FA Cup defeat at Torquay with Gary Dempsey coming in for the injured Scott Guyett.

Yeovil were forced into an early change, however, when Marcus Stewart limped off after just seven minutes to be replaced by Wilfried Domoraud.

It was the visitors who created the better chances within the first 10 minutes though when de Vries failed to make a clean punch of a Yeovil corner before beating away the follow up shot from James Walker.

Swansea responded positively as Stephen Mildenhall was forced to save a dangerous free-kick from Andrea Orlandi, before Darryl Duffy just failed to connect with another cross from the Spaniard.

The game was still fairly even when Garry Monk was forced to make a goal-saving tackle with 24 minutes gone as Lloyd Owuso broke clear inside the area.

Three minutes later and it was Alan Tate's turn to deny Lee Peltier virtually on the goal line as Swansea failed to clear their lines.

It came during a good spell for the visitors as skipper Terry Skiverton fired another good chance over the bar.

Swansea were struggling to get hold of the ball atthat stage until Pratley picked out Anderson with a great pass. The Liverpool loan signing broke forward before drilling his cross across the face of goal only to find nobody in support.

With 33 minutes gone, Anderson was in the action again as he fired another cross to the far post which Duffy just failed to touch home.

It lifted Swansea as Orlandi and Pratley started to probe for the opener before Anderson unleashed a fierce 25-yard volley which Mildenhall did well to hold.

Then with 41 minutes gone, Swansea made the breakthrough. Anderson's corner was flicked on by the quick feet of Monk; and although Tate's effort was blocked, Guillem Bauza followed up to head the ball home from close range for his third goal in two games.

Half-time: Swans 1 Yeovil 0

Swansea made their first substitution five minutes into the second-half when Tom Butler came on for Anderson.

It was a scrappy opening, however, with Anthony Barry the first to test the 'keeper with a long-range effort which de Vries saved with ease.

Swansea's second substitution followed with 58 minutes gone as Ferrie Bodde replaced Bauza as Roberto switched to a 4-5-1 system.

It had the desired effect as Bodde drove forward before finding Butler in support. The winger cut inside before forcing Mildenhall to push his effort behind for a corner which Yeovil cleared.

Swansea were starting to find more space going forward on the break now as Allen played in Duffy who brought a great save out of Mildenhall with 16 minutes remaining.

With seven minutes remaining, Jason Scotland came off the bench for the hard-working Duffy as Swansea looked to kill the game off.

It was Yeovil who applied the pressure in the closing stages, however, without really troubling de Vries in the home goal as the Swans stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games.
