Brian Laws joined the list of rival managers who have saluted Swansea City after admitting Sheffield Wednesday were lucky to snatch a point at the Liberty Stadium.
The Owls were outplayed almost throughout on Saturday but scraped a draw thanks to Swansea's failure to convert pressure into goals.
Former Newcastle man Steve Watson headed home in the 70th minute to cancel out Ferrie Bodde's sizzling opener.
''What I would like to say is that quite clearly Swansea are a good side,'' Laws conceded.
''They are a team that are on the up, a club on the up, you can see that clearly.
''They have good players who look comfortable in the division and they gave us a tough time, particularly in the first half.

''We were poor. We tried to match Swansea up to keep them quiet but our basic passing was poor and I was actually quite pleased to get in at half-time only 1-0 down.
''I had a lot of harsh words to say at half-time and luckily the changes we made came off for us.
''Last season we probably would have lost this game but we have got a point and I will take that thank you very much.'
''I don't believe many sides will come here and take many points off Swansea if they continue to play like that,'' he added.
''They have assembled a good squad and they should be pleased with themselves.
''I am sure they will be thinking they have dropped two points and we are particularly pleased with a point because there will not be many places where we'll have a tougher time this season.''
