Swans a really good addition

Steve Coppell hailed Swansea City as a ''really good addition to the Championship'' despite seeing his Reading side dismantle Roberto Martinez's team this weekend.
Sloppy Swansea were taken apart as a combination of their shortcomings and Reading's class saw the contest come to an end before half-time.
But Martinez's men salvaged some pride with an improved second-half showing even though Kevin Doyle rounded off the Royals' 4-0 win in the last minute of normal time.
''Swansea chopped and changed their shape after the break — they didn't really have a right-winger — and they were better,'' Coppell said.
''We knew it would be a tactical challenge whatever Roberto came up with. We knew it was never going to be the same in the second half as it had been in the first.
''We were not protecting our lead, but we were a little more circumspect and they improved — the extra man (in midfield) gave us some problems.
''Swansea can pass the ball really well and they have been a really good addition to the Championship.
''They have a style that is very pleasing on the eye and the contrast with Stoke, the other side we've played this week, just shows how demanding football in this country can be.''

Martinez heaped blame on his rearguard after Reading stormed into a 3-0 lead at the interval, but Coppell preferred to praise his attack.
''I thought we were terrific in the first 45 minutes,'' said the former Crystal Palace boss.
''The players prepared well for this one, we were ready for it, and that's as good a half as I've seen so far this season.''
Ominously for Swansea, the vastly-experienced Coppell picked out Wolves as the Championship's star side after victory moved Reading up to third in the table — eight points behind Mick McCarthy's pacesetters.
After a tricky trip to Preston tomorrow, Swansea host Wolves this weekend without the suspended Ferrie Bodde.
''I have seen them a couple of times and Wolves look to be the best side in the division,'' he said.
''They have a very effective balance at the moment. They have good width and they are getting some terrific results.''
