The highly-rated 26 year old started his career at Dutch side Stormvogels Telstar before moving to Den Haag in 2003 and then Scottish side Dunfermline where he earned rave reviews.
Played a pivotal role as the club secured the Coca-Cola League One title and was ever-present for Roberto Martinez's side in the league, missing just two cup games all season - one in the FA Cup and the other in the FAW Premier Cup.
