The Dutch international became Brendan Rodgers' sixth summer signing when he joined from Utrecht for £1.5million in August.
Signed a three-year contract at the Liberty Stadium as he looked to fill the void of fellow countryman Dorus de Vries, who left to join Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Is a former team-mate of ex-Swan Cedric van der Gun, while also played against Kemy Agustien and Ferrie Bodde in the Eredivisie.
Michel is a firm part of Holland's national squad, featuring World Cup and European Championship qualifiers along with friendly matches.
He was included in the Holland squad that finished runners-up in the 2010 World Cup after losing to Spain.
Previously, Vorm helped his nation win the European Under-21s Championship in 2006.
At club level, he played against Liverpool and Celtic in last season's Europa League campaign, and was a renowned penalty-saver at Utrecht - earning him the nickname "penalty killer."
Although not having the typical physique for a keeper, his agility and reflexes easily make up for it.
And, particularly important for the Swans, he is a strong distributor and is comfortable with the ball at his feet.
