Darren Way joined the Swans in January 2006 for £150,000 from Yeovil on a three-and-a-half year deal.
The 28-year-old started his career as an apprentice at Norwich and was a consistent performer for Yeovil after joining them in August 2000.
Struggled with injury in his first season at the club and underwent an operation on a long-standing shin injury during the summer.
He regained fitness and in November 2007 went out on loan to former club Yeovil and made seven appearances, scoring one goal, before returning to Swansea but injury restricted him to just two substitute appearances.
