Chris was given his first professional contract in October 2006, just a few weeks after celebrating his 17th birthday.
The young Swansea-born striker is highly rated at the club after coming through the junior and youth ranks.
Turned down offers from two Premiership clubs to sign a two-and-a-half year contract and made his senior debut as a second-half substitute in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Walsall in October 2006.
In August 2008 he was loaned out to Blue Square Premier division outfit Cambridge United until January 2. He made his U's debut in the opening day victory at Northwich Victoria on August 9.
