In his second stint at the Liberty Stadium, the left-back rejoined the club before the transfer window closed in August.
Bessone signed a two-year deal and provided competition for the left-back position with Neil Taylor following Alan Tate's injury setback.
No stranger to the Liberty, the Argentinian enjoyed two successful seasons at the Swans having been signed from Espanyol on a free transfer by Roberto Martinez in 2008.
Featured in Championship campaigns which just saw the club miss out on a play-off spot, Bessone then moved to Leeds at the end of his contract.
The former Espanyol defender, who came through the ranks at Barcelona, featured just six times for Leeds in the Championship - including the 2-1 home win over the Swans - before joining Charlton Athletic on loan in January for the remainder of the 2010-11 campaign.
Surplus to requirements at Leeds, he was released from his contract which allowed to tie up his return to South Wales in time before the closure of the transfer window.
