The Wales Under-21 international committed his future to the club in the summer after signing his first pro contract.
The local lad joined the club as a 14 year-old and went on to captain the successful youth team.
Now 18, he can play as a full-back or a central defender, and it was at right-back where he made his senior debut against Colchester in the FA Cup.
His starring role in the 4-0 success also earned him the man of the match award, and followed that up with a cameo appearance against Crystal Palace seven days later in front of the live Sky cameras.
Made his first appearance this season in the Carling Cup defeat at Shrewsbury.
