Huw Jenkins thrilled with passionate support

Huw Jenkins' message to Swansea City fans

Dear Supporter,

I'm writing to you towards the end of another exciting season in the Championship.

Considering it is only our second season back at Championship level in 25 years, I believe we have continued to progress as a club - both on and off the field.

We have continued to play our football 'The Swansea City Way' under manager Paulo Sousa and I firmly believe that with your continued support the club has a bright future ahead of it.

The Board of Directors has once again been thrilled at the level of passionate support you gave us in our fifth season at the Liberty Stadium.

Despite the tough financial climate, our average attendance at the Liberty Stadium this season has remained solid at over 15,000 and has been one of the main reasons why we have proved so successful.

I must also mention the thousands of you who travelled away from home to support us.

Not only is your support amazing and greatly appreciated, I believe we have become the envy of many Championship clubs on the road.

But we are not happy to just stand still as a club. We've still got a tough and challenging road ahead of us where, once again, we need your support more than ever.

Therefore, the Board of Directors and I have taken the decision to reduce season ticket prices for the 2010/11 season by six per cent - that's an average of £25 extra off an adult eason ticket.

of our reduced season ticket prices

That means adult Swans fans can save up to £109 by signing on for the whole campaign in the West Stand (£18.70 per game) and £95 in the East Stand (£16.30 per game), which gives you roughly five free games over the course of the season.

Not only will it guarantee that the Liberty Stadium remains one of the cheapest places to watch top level football, but we'll also be including extra benefits as well to make it our best deal ever.

Season ticket holders will now also get 10 per cent off all club shop and online merchandise with our official Swans fob, while we'll also be offering exclusive hospitality specials throughout the new campaign.

So, buying your season ticket represents a massive saving over the course of the season.

As you can see by our new Family Stand offer, we remain committed to attracting families and young children to the stadium by continuing our 'Fans of the Future' initiative.

Not only are we offering supporters under the age of 16 the chance to watch the Swans in action for just £50 in the South 'Family' Stand for the entire season - that's just £2.17 per game - but we have slashed the price of the adult season ticket by a massive £100 in conjunction with our family offer.

It means a family of one adult and two children will pay, for example, just £398, which is cheaper than last season's adult price alone.

This season ticket offer is only available for April and focuses on new applications as we still hope to honour our Premiership pledge to our current 2009-10 season ticket holders. Further details for existing season ticket holders will follow in due course.

So don't delay, take up this fantastic offer and join the growing band of Swans season ticket holders for the 2010/11 campaign - and give Paulo Sousa and the boys the support they deserve.

It promises to be another thriller.

Sincerely,

Huw Jenkins, Chairman
