The Way forward

It was nice to see Darren Way back in the fold and bounding down the tunnel on his crutches against Chesterfield last Friday - and with a big smile on his face.
Having returned from his stress fracture operation in London, we have been really pleased with his progress.
He is being looked after by one of the best consultants in Britain and he is more than confident that Darren will make a speedy and successful recovery.
Even though we may only be a League One club, we try and take our players to see the very best sports medicine practitioners in the world - as was the case with Owain Tudur Jones and Tom Williams who had treatment in America and Germany recently.
The health and recovery of our players is of paramount importance and we will endeavour to continue to do the best we can for them.
I'd also like to thank the club's Executive Fund Raising Committee for their help after providing us with a cheque for £1,000 to purchase a special bone healing machine which the consultant recommended for Darren Way.
At the time of writing we are hoping to pass Kristian O'Leary fit for today's game.
Kristian picked up an ankle injury at Tranmere and missed the game against Chesterfield. We gave him a fitness test before last Friday's game and although he was 90 per cent fit, the manager didn't want to risk doing any long-term damage with so many important games coming up.
The pain in his ankle has eased dramatically this week and hopefully he should be okay today, but you'll have to wait for the team-sheet to find out.
Of the long-termers, we've been in contact with America regarding Owain Tudur-Jones' injury and they are happy with his progress.
He has hit all the benchmarks and is well on track.
Steve Watt is now out of his sling following his shoulder injury and we are working on his range of movement.
He must be recovering because Alan Tate managed to get a Sunderland shirt on him last week!
Darren Pratley is still in his sling, however, after his shoulder operation. But three weeks into his rehabilitation he is still on course.
We should be able to throw the sling away next week and step up his rehabilitation programme.
Adebayo Akinfenwa's skin graft has taken well on his broken leg and he is now weight bearing through the bone with the aid of his crutches, which is great news.
Finally, Garry Monk continues to edge closer to a first team call up after coming through another Reserve team game on Wednesday against Cheltenham.
