Scotland sidelined
Jason Scotland is set to miss tomorrow night's friendly at Neath and the trip to Llanelli on Thursday with a slight calf strain.
The Trinidad & Tobago striker picked up the injury during the one-week training camp in Sweden.
"It's only a slight strain, nothing serious,'' explained Swans physio Richie Evans. "He'll have some more treatment over the next few days and should be back in training next week.''
Alan Tate (ankle), Kevin Amankwaah (toe), Kristian O'Leary (calf) and Leon Britton (hamstring) all missed the 5-2 friendly win in Sweden against Ostersund with slight niggles, but all are expected to figure in the double header against Welsh Premier opposition.
Tom Butler is a serious doubt, however, after picking up a hamstring strain against Ostersund.
Meanwhile, Dennis Lawrence has stepped up his recovery programme after missing the trip to Sweden with a hamstring problem and is expected to resume full training next week.
Admission for tomorrow night's game at Neath is £5 for adults and £3 concessions, while admission at Stebonheath Park on Thursday is £6 and £3.
Both games kick off at 7.30pm.
The squad arrived back in Swansea last night following their exploits in Sweden. And it was back to reality this morning as Roberto Martinez and his coaching staff were struggling to find a bit of grass to train on that wasn't waterlogged!
