Obviously all the attention over the last few days has centred around the injury to goalkeeper Dorus de Vries.
Dorus had to go under the surgeon's scalpel on Wednesday after suffering a depressed cheek bone and fractured jaw during the game against QPR the previous night.
Such is Dorus' commitment to the Swans cause he even wanted to stay on for the rest of the game. But there was no way we would risk it.
At the end of the day, the player's safety and wellbeing is always paramount.
The medical staff in attendance at the Liberty Stadium on the night were excellent; together with the ambulance staff and everyone at Morriston Hospital where Dorus was looked after and underwent the operation.
But he is already asking when he can make his comeback and the day after the surgery he was back at the training ground doing some work in the gym. He even spoke to the press about his injury.
I think it's going to be a hard job to hold him back, so we won't be putting a timescale on his return. Instead we will monitor his progress on a daily basis.
I think everyone will join me in wishing him a speedy recovery and I'm sure it won't be long before the big Dutchman is hollering at our back four again - probably wearing a Zorro mask as well.
He's been joined in the treatment room by young Joe Allen who has returned from his loan spell at Wrexham after picking up an ankle injury.
Joe who made two impressive appearances for the Dragons before picked up ankle ligament damage during training.
We are still assessing Joe, but it looks as if he'll be out for between two and four weeks.
Andrea Orlandi has also been popping in for treatment on his thigh injury. He returned to training this week, but will need a fitness test before making himself available for today's game.
Tom Butler looks to be over his groin problem after coming through his own fitness test before last Tuesday night's game against QPR. Tom made the bench and came on for the last few minutes.
