We've got a new recruit in the treatment room this week in Fede Bessone after he was stretchered off at Bristol City on Saturday.
At the time of writing, Fede is due to have a MRI scan to confirm a tear in his left hamstring which is set to keep him out for four to six weeks.
It's disappointing for Fede as he had just established himself in the team following the injury to fellow left-back Marcos Painter.
Fede seems to have a history of hamstring tears and it's something we will be investigating as the season progresses.
But while Fede is resigned to the sidelines, at least Andrea Orlandi looks ready to make his return following his long-standing thigh injury.
Andrea trained all last week and did a full session on Sunday and Monday. Hopefully he'll be available for 45 minutes for the Reserves at Yeovil tomorrow.
Joe Allen could also have a run out after making his comeback from ankle ligament damage as a late substitute at Bristol City.
Joe has progressed really well and has returned two weeks ahead of schedule.
Our two long-term injury victims, Marcos Painter and Ferrie Bodde, are also progressing well.
Marcos went to see his consultant last week for an update on his cruciate ligament operation.
The consultant is delighted with his progress and that's down to the hard work Marcos has put in.
He's been in the gym every day and is sticking rigidly to the exercise programme we've given him to do at home.
It will be Ferrie's turn to see his consultant on Thursday when he travels back from Holland to visit The Lister Hospital in London where he underwent his own cruciate ligament injury a fortnight ago.
The Den Haag physio, who is helping to look after Ferrie, will also be coming over with him and we'll all meet up in London to plan the next stage of his rehab.
Although Ferrie has gone back to recuperate with his family in Holland, I'm in daily contact with him and the knee is responding really well.
Tonight's game is the first of two at home in the space of five days which will provide the lads with another gruelling test.
They've played 11 games in 44 days which is a tough ask for any squad. But they have worked really hard, especially on their recovery, and I know they are determined to fight for every point.
