It's been a strange old week with the weather knocking us out of our usual routine on the training ground.
The snow caused havoc on Monday and Tuesday and knocked training on the head with the roads too dangerous to get in - even with all those posh 4 x 4s!
After the boys built a few snowmen and the Spanish boys worked out that the cold white stuff was snow, they were back in training as normal on Wednesday with a bit of catching up to do in readiness for today's game.
We obviously had a few absentees, most notably Darren Pratley who ruptured his AC shoulder joint against Preston 10 days ago.
It was a heavy challenge from giant Preston striker Jon Parkin and it's the first time I've seen such an injury in football. It's an injury more common in rugby.
Prats had to have surgery to pin the shoulder and will be out for around 10 weeks. He will go back under the surgeon's knife in six weeks time to have the pin removed before stepping up his comeback.
At the moment he is stuck in the gym keeping up his fitness levels and trying to increase the movement in his shoulder bit by bit.
Obviously he is devastated to be missing his call-up to the Jamaican squad and next week's FA Cup tie against his old club, Fulham.
But he is remaining positive and the boys are helping him count down the days to his comeback as it's over 10!
On a positive note, it was good to see Tom Butler back in action at Southampton following his groin injury.
Ashley Williams and Andrea Orlandi both picked up ankle knocks against a physical Saints side, but they will both be okay for today's game.
Leon Britton also took a bit of a battering in the last two games, but Brits is made of strong stuff.
Matty Collins is not far off recovering from his ankle injury, while Ferrie Bodde and Marcos Painter continue their recovery from knee ligament operations.
Ferrie will be back in Swansea next week after a spell at home in Holland and I know he's looking forward to seeing a few games.
