James signed his first professional contract in the summer, and is regarded as a bright prospect at the Liberty.
The striker played a pivotal role for Tony Pennock's youth team in the past two seasons, scoring a number of crucial goals along the way.
He was part of the FAW Welsh Cup winning sides of 2011 and 2012, as well as scoring impressive goals against Liverpool, Portsmouth and Manchester United in the youth team's run to the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup last season.
